1. Reiki 1 — First Degree Reiki: –Position of Reiki, this is primarily for giving physical (hands-on / hand hovering over the body) and etheric healings. It has a tremendous ability to balance and harmonize the chakras (energy centers in the body). Reiki I will remove negative energy from a person’s auric field, relieve stress, and heal the physical body of dis-eases in general. (Many students take these workshops over and over because of the healings they receive while doing the workshops.)
2. Reiki 2 — Second Degree Reiki: –This Reiki energy adds healing on the mental and emotional levels. The first-degree energy is enhanced and amplified greatly, and the student is taught how to send the healing energy over long distances and to other points in time. The student learns techniques for using the Reiki symbols (sofeware for the brain) to cleanse and protect the aura (an invisible etheric energy field around the physical body.) The symbols can be used to remove bad energy from your home or office. The second-degree techniques are used to facilitate deep emotional healing, which is often the true cause of dis-ease.
3. Reiki 3 –   Third Degree Reiki: –Reiki Master- This is very spiritual in nature and deals with self-empowerment. The Master level (third degree) amplifies both the first and second-degree energy to its highest levels. It integrates one’s being and initiates a more complete contact with your Higher Self. Reiki Masters can teach others and give Reiki I, II, and III attunements.

Everyone — Young And Old — Can Give Reiki Energy Healings

We use Reiki Healing, using both traditional Usui Reiki and the Laser Reiki techniques we have developed, which grew from the traditional Reiki methods we have practiced for years. We have seen many amazing healings and healing miracles come from these methods. Attunement as a Reiki Master can be a long-term learning process, but the training and certification is really very easy to obtain.

There are other methods and modalities available. Some are easy to understand and practice, others are more esoteric and unusual. The best approach to take is using your own intuition and comfort as a gauge for choosing the methods you will practice. You may choose to use many healing and energy awareness methods as a healer. Isn’t the goal to feel stronger, healthier, and happy? Does it matter if you walk, run, drive or ride to get to that place you want to be?

We joined hands, and I began the prayer:

Great Spirit and Great Mother Earth, we thank you for the space in which to gather on this day.  We offer ourselves as a conduit for your energies, and ask to be guided into the space that will bring us into harmony with your design for our world at this time.

We accept the offerings of Great Mother Earth, as we allow the energy she provides to us to flow up to and through our feet, up through our legs, through our body and along our arms right to our fingertips.  The energy flows through us and along the chain we have created.  Notice how the energy flows from us to others, and at the same time the energy flows through the fingertips of others to and through us.

We ask for blessings and healing for this cherry tree.  The leaves reach out to Great Spirit and accept the gifts from Great Spirit of the sun and the warmth, offering these as energy for the tree as it flows through and into the earth.  The earth offers her nutrients and water, flowing these energies through the tree as an offering to Great Spirit.  The tree offers itself as a conduit, but it takes the tree to connect the earth and the cosmos, and bring about this exchange.

So is it with each person here today. They serve as a conduit for these earth and cosmic energies, and serve with humility.  Yet each acts in a very important role, for it is only through the individual bringing consciousness to the flow of these energies that the cosmic and earth energies are brought together.  Each person here plays a part in creating a powerful alliance, in bringing forth the dreams of the universe in our worldly environment.

Amen.

The next tree was happy to see me, and offered gratitude for the attention I was giving to it.  “Should I bring the students out here for an earth healing?”  “Yes”, the trees replied, with great gusto.  I continued my own healing, going from tree to tree, and received a different healing from each.  There were seven in this group, which fit nicely with the chakra system. 

There was also a cherry tree at the end, set somewhat apart from the others.  The energy shared by the cherry tree was quite different.  This healing was more informational as well, offering me even more focal points to share with the group.  Then I moved over to a cluster of trees planted in tight rows.  These were networked together, and when I tapped into their energy I could see the collective gathering power of this group.  Very powerful, indeed!

I walked back to the classroom, and joined the group.  They were ready.  I began by talking with them about our focus and attention.  We as humans are so “all over the place” with our energies both in time and space.  The trees were going to offer us an opportunity to release, focus, and experience in the “here and now”, and step into the moment more so than they normally experience.  This earth-focused meditation time is a powerful healing in itself, one often overlooked by those seeking more “spiritual” experiences. 

After my brief introduction to this healing focus, I jokingly stated that “this would pull them from their monkey minds and clear their head of its clutter, so anyone who wants to keep the chatter should raise their hand”.  Not a single hand was raised.  Everyone was ready to expand their consciousness through simplicity and awareness.

We walked out to the orchard, and each person moved to a tree, having one person at a time at each tree so they could experience without co-mingling energies.  This exercise continued in silence, giving each a chance to fully experience their energy shift.  After 20 minutes or so of individual work we gathered under the cherry tree for a special healing and blessing of the tree.

Great!  My mind still drew a blank.  I’ll know when I need to know, that’s all there was to it.  I knew I was to “hold space” for a shift in the earth energies these students would experience.  My role was to introduce enough information to these people to give them focus and introduction to this energy, and then let them move about in a controlled, safe space and experience the flow. 

The guest speaker in the class remained through the rest of the afternoon, and then we shifted into social dinner time.  There was always tomorrow.  I still had little idea of what I would share with this group. 

The next morning I was late in my arrival, the class started an hour or so earlier.  No worries.  I saw Taylore in her office, and we exchanged smiles as she turned toward me with her phone up to her ear.  “Whenever you are ready to lead a meditation, just come to the classroom”, she stated, and she returned to her class. 

It’s time for action, I thought.  “I’d better get a little clearer definition of my energy”.  I knew that I was not going to accomplish this task sitting in front of a computer, its far too distracting.  Not only that, but both Taylore and Roi came up the stairs and into the office within the few minutes that I teetered between computers and self-awareness.  “I’ll take this as a hint, step away from the computers!!”, I thought, and walked down the stairs and out to the chairs outside. 

As I neared the chairs I became more aware of my energy.  Yes, I had made the computers and “work” my focal point, not my energy, or in this case the blocks in my energy.  I sat in the chair, and immediately I knew this was not the right approach this time.  The trees called out to me.  It was time to change the energy, and that meant healing me first, with the guidance of the earth.  Without hesitation I jumped up from the chair and headed for the orchard.

When I arrived I noticed a hummingbird in the tree above my car.  He chattered to me, and I smiled and gave thanks.  Then he flew to a branch closer to me, and chattered again.  “You have a job to do”, he said.  “Well, I’m sure at some point I will know what that will be”, I replied.

I gathered my papers and notebook from my car, and when I glanced down I noticed the clover growing in the grass.  Just a few days earlier I had found six four-leaf clovers during my walks.  I wondered if I would find another today.  The answer was “no, you have a job to do”.  Okay, I suppose now I should put some attention on what is asked of me. 

I focused on the property and the elemental energies.  The earth spoke out to me, telling me to shift my energy.  “Shift to what?” I asked.  I had a wonderful meditation a few days prior that I found to be newly enriching, but it came so easily that I did not give thought to its value.  But the earth spoke out to me, telling me to continue to use this new earth energy and bring it into the consciousness of the group attending the workshop. 

A few hours later I was sitting outside in a patio area, talking with attendee’s of the class, and something pulled my attention toward that same tree.  I saw many little birds flying around the area above my car, and from their erratic flight pattern I knew they were hummingbirds.  I had not seen so many together like this before.  Then they were gone.  “You have a job to do”, they said.  I promised to focus on the task given to me.

Reiki 1 training increases the flow of energy into an individual. Your ability to flow healing energy will increase up to 20% with each attunement to Reiki.

Down through history the normal flow of energy was closed down. Historically and genetically speaking, people who appeared to have special abilities during the ages of persecution were harmed in some way. Remember reading about the burning of witches? This knowledge that flowing a large current of Source Energy would be dangerous to your health because of the punishments received in ancient times may have caused the subconscious mind to close you down in this life. The tendency to protect you may also have been carried over from a past life experience or from your genetic line into your present life. There may be other reasons to explain why you may not be flowing the necessary energy to heal others. For example, your family does not approve or understand.

Your physical body is hard-wired to flow Source Energy just like a computer’s hard drive is wired to run Windows and other software programs.
