The next tree was happy to see me, and offered gratitude for the attention I was giving to it.  “Should I bring the students out here for an earth healing?”  “Yes”, the trees replied, with great gusto.  I continued my own healing, going from tree to tree, and received a different healing from each.  There were seven in this group, which fit nicely with the chakra system. 

There was also a cherry tree at the end, set somewhat apart from the others.  The energy shared by the cherry tree was quite different.  This healing was more informational as well, offering me even more focal points to share with the group.  Then I moved over to a cluster of trees planted in tight rows.  These were networked together, and when I tapped into their energy I could see the collective gathering power of this group.  Very powerful, indeed!

I walked back to the classroom, and joined the group.  They were ready.  I began by talking with them about our focus and attention.  We as humans are so “all over the place” with our energies both in time and space.  The trees were going to offer us an opportunity to release, focus, and experience in the “here and now”, and step into the moment more so than they normally experience.  This earth-focused meditation time is a powerful healing in itself, one often overlooked by those seeking more “spiritual” experiences. 

After my brief introduction to this healing focus, I jokingly stated that “this would pull them from their monkey minds and clear their head of its clutter, so anyone who wants to keep the chatter should raise their hand”.  Not a single hand was raised.  Everyone was ready to expand their consciousness through simplicity and awareness.

We walked out to the orchard, and each person moved to a tree, having one person at a time at each tree so they could experience without co-mingling energies.  This exercise continued in silence, giving each a chance to fully experience their energy shift.  After 20 minutes or so of individual work we gathered under the cherry tree for a special healing and blessing of the tree.
